An Agriculture Graduate of 1976 batch from A.P. Agricultural University, Rajendernagar, Hyderabad. Joined Andhra Pradesh State Seeds Development Corporation Ltd, initially as Seed Officer in the year 1977 and continued as such till 1990. Subsequently promoted as District Manager and continued as such till 1998, from 1998 upto 2002 posted as Manager Incharge. In the year 2002 he was promoted as Manager and continued as such till his retirement from APSSDC service on attaining superannuation as Manager i.e. upto 2008 holding responsible positions as Manager (Quality Control, (Production) and (Marketing). His entire service in APSSDC Ltd. was well recognized and well known for his well disciplined, honest, sincere hard work and through his long service of more than 31 years rendered in APSSDC he has acquired vast experience in all aspects of Seeds – its quality aspects, production and marketing in specific. He has undergone training in Seed Technology organized by National Seeds Corporation Ltd, New Delhi and also short term Managerial training programs organized by the Government.
The APSSDC Ltd., in recognition of honest and sincere hard work rendered by Sri Ja Raumi Reddy was awarded “The Best Seed Officer” award and in the year 2002 he was awarded ‘The Best Manager for Inter-State Marketing”
He was also an active and dedicated Office-bearer of the APSSDC Employees Union and Technical Officers’ Association unanimously elected as General Secretary and subsequently as President for several years, taking care of the interests of the welfare of the Officers and Employees of APSSDC Ltd.
Being closely associated with the farmers at field level throughout his service and having experienced their plight, he always yearned to continue to render his service for the farming community even after his retirement from active service of the APSSDC Ltd.
Having learnt the aims and objectives of SUVIDHA, he has voluntarily come forward to join the NGO, to extend all his guidance and support. SUVIDHA is proud to welcome him and nominated him as Secretary of its Governing Body.
